22 First Class Students to Receive Award In UNICAL 30th Convocation

A total of 22 students who finished with First class degrees will receive award in the 30th convocation ceremony of the University Of Calabar (UNICAL).
This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor of University of Calabar, Prof. Zana Akpagu during a pre-convocation ceremony.
He mentioned that 13, 347 students, comprising 11,910 undergraduates and 1,437 postgraduates, would graduate at the ceremony.

Akpagu said the University would also confer honorary degrees on three eminent Nigerians for their contribution to the socio-economic development of the country.

“These are Alhaji Umaru Kwabo, Sir Daniel Chukwudozie and Brig-Gen. Anthony Ukpo (rtd).’’ He said.

The convocation ceremony is slated to hold on Saturday 13th Of March, 2017.
